On
behalf of the people of The Church of the Holy Family, Heart Lake I
want to welcome you to our website. We are delighted you have
visited us and we hope you will find our site useful.
When we think of the Holy Family that consists of Jesus, his blessed
Mother Mary and her husband St. Joseph, we are reminded that though
Jesus was God who chose to come to us in vulnerable flesh as one of us
making his home in a humble carpenter’s abode.
It is this image that guides our life and service here at Holy Family
parish. As Christians we also are called to love; to enter into the
vulnerability of our neighbour and walking hand-in-hand to seek
God’s peace together. Therefore, at Holy Family, you
will find a friendly welcome no matter who you are. You will find
a sanctuary, into which you may come as you are and together with the
saints in heaven and God’s people on earth experience the Christ
who lived, died and was raised for us.
May the angels of God guard you and guide you this day. May the
Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and all of the saints pray for you and
may God Father, Son and Spirit bless you always.
